Terms of Service |
1. The application should be submitted by head of the family or someone who deputizes for him. |
2. Any Jordanian who is 18 years old and above, can declare the address according to the application prepared to this purpose. |
3. Declaring an address should be done within two years starting from 19/5/2015. |
4. Citizens should notify the Department with their new address within 30 days of changing residence. |
5. Ministries, government departments and official institutions request to address the Department through an official letter. |
Required Documents to Obtain the Service |
1. Declared Address application form. |
2. Acknowledgment from head of the family/wife or someone who deputizes them. |
3. An official letter from ministries, government departments and official institutions requesting the address. |
Service Procedures |
1. Fill in the application of the service and take a number by the Public Service Office. |
2. Enter the data in the database of the declared address program by the Document Acceptance Officer. |
3. Save the information received by the Office in special files. |
4. Keep received letters from government departments and official institutions with letters issued to this effect in special files |
5. Refer the application to the Archiving Section to archive documents. |

Citizens should be notified that if the declared address is different from the one shown in the Department’s records, it will not appear on the documents and will not be approved for judicial, financial or administrative notifications issued by ministries and official government institutions |
Fees |
- No fees apply |
- A fine of JD10 if two years passed without declaring the address. |
- A fine of JD10 if 30 days passed on changing the address and no declaration is received. |
